Profile

Dr. Ranjitha Shankare Gowda who is an alumni of JSS intitutions has  attained her MBBS and MD Microbiology degrees from J.S.S.Medical College and is currently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Microbiology. She has obtained her fellowship in Global Infectious diseases  for her project on Whole genome sequencing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates in collaboration with University of California Berkeley She is also pursuing her PhD and has been actively involved in teaching MBBS , BDS , Nursing and  Physiotherapy students since 7 years. She worked as NABH coordinator and has contributed in getting NABH accreditation for the hospital. She has presented papers and posters at various conferences and chaired few scientific sessions. She is also a recognized reviewer of International Journal. She looks forward to working with newer state of the art techniques and to establish centre of excellence for TB in JSS Hospital.
