I am a proud alumnus (Undergraduate) of JSS Medical college. During my MD days as post graduate in Medicine, I developed a keen interest in Nephrology and after completion, I pursued my passion for Nephrology. I did my fellowship in Nephrology under Dr Sudarshan Ballal at Manipal Hospital, Bagalore. Later, I did DNB Nephrology under DR Gokulnath at prestigious St John’s Medical College. I have been in this field for last 10 years having gained rich experience in management of patients with kidney diseases including renal transplant.
Teaching has been my passion and one of the main reasons for coming back to my alma mater. I am involved in training DM Nephrology residents as well as Medicine postgraduates. It also helps me to keep uptodate with the current trends in the field of Nephrology.
