Dr.K.Jagadish Kumar,MD (Ped) graduated from Governament medical College ,Mysore in 1989.He completed his MD in 1993 from Lady Hardinge Medical College,New Delhi. He started his career as senior resident in pediatrics at Kalavathi Saran Childrens Hospital, New Delhi [LHMC] in 1993. After wards he worked as lecturer inAIMS,BGnagar for one year 3 months. He has been in JSS MC from 1995. Currently he is Professor and HOD of Pediatrics. He has been the guide for a number of pediatric postgraduate students, mentor for undergraduate students and guide for PhD students . His main interests are Infectious Diseases , Haematology & Intensive care. He has more than 3 decades of experience in pediatric care both routine & in intensive care. He has completed several research projects and has ongoing projects as well .He has been the Chairman of clinical board of studies in faculty of medicine for under graduates since 2017. He has published 130 papers in various national and international journals.He is the reviewer for many national and international journals.

He received Certificate of Appreciation from District Health & Family Welfare Society, Mysore for the Special efforts and involment in MR Vaccination CAMPAIGN in Mysore district in 2017.He received the Certificate of Appreciation from JSSAHER for the research and publications in 2020. He is currently a member of Indian Medical Association, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, infectious disease Respiratory chapter of IAP.He has been the examiner for various universities across south India.He has managed many complicated and unusual cases with successful outcomes.
