Dr. Jayaraj is a Professor and head of the Pulmonary Medicine in JSS Medical College & Hospital. He completed his MD in General Medicine from Mysore Medical College in 1991 and DM in Pulmonary and critical care Medicine from the prestigious Post Graduate Institue of Medical research ( PGIMER) , Chandigarh in 1997. Since then Dr. Jayaraj is working in JSS Medical College. He is mentoring the postgraduate students from the Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, for the past 25 years.
He has been involved in Many research Projects . He has Many publications to his credit. His field of interests are Asthma, Allergy , Tuberculosis,COPD, Sleep Medicine and critical care Medicine.
He is a member of Many National and international organizations and
He also has co-authored a book on Principles and Interpretation of Chest X-Rays
Dr. Jayaraj is also the Nodal Officer for the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) in JSS Medical College and
Heads the Respiratory Intensive care unit (RICU) at JSS Hospital.
