Profile

Dr Vyshnavi S completed MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and  graduated in Anesthesiology from Government Medical College Calicut. She is presently serving as Assistant Professor in department of Anesthesiology JSS Hospital. Her special areas of interest include difficult airway management and regional anesthesia. She has undergone training in Basics of    pain and palliative care. She is also an American Heart Association (AHA) certified instructor of BLS and ACLS courses. Being academically oriented, she is actively involved in academic programmes of undergraduate and post graduate students besides being a university approved guide for post graduate students. She is equipped with the knowledge of the Certificate Course in Biomedical Research to guide post graduate students in their dissertations. She is also one of the   departmental co-ordinators of B SC Anesthesia and OT technology course. She has conducted several studies and published them in indexed journals of national and international repute. With zeal to remain updated, she has participated in many national and state level conferences, workshops and seminars and delivered talks and presented papers. She also has a major contribution in quality improvement programmes of the  hospital at both departmental and interdepartmental levels. She has received training in NABH quality programmes and is one of the departmental co-ordinators and an inter hospital auditor of NABH. Equipped with the experience of dealing with challenging cases over the years, providing holistic care to all the patients throughout the peri operative period and contributing constructively to the academic curriculum remain top priorities.
