We have lasers for permanent hair reduction and management of pigmentation and scarring at the Dermatology Department. Proper sun-protection is a must before and after laser procedures.
Permanent reduction of pigmented hairs is currently the most popular laser procedure for unwanted hairs. We have 810 nm Diode laser at our Dermatology department, which is quite effective for hair reduction. Females with excessive/unwanted facial hair (familial or idiopathic), patients with hirsutism due to PCOD or other hormonal issues and females who want axillary hair reduction can make use of the laser facility available with us at an affordable price. Shaping of beard hair or frontal hair line and treatment for excess hairs in the ears in males can also be effectively done using this laser. Patients with keratosis pilaris, pilonidal sinus and acne keloidalis nuchae are also benefitted by hair reduction using Diode laser.
