He is working as professor & HOD of department of Dermatology, venereology and leprosy. He joined JSS Medical College in 1995 and since then served this institution in various capacity.Teaching and training UG & PG students in dermatology is my passion. He has undergone basic course workshop in medical education technologies,training of trainers workshop conducted by medical education unit. He is a member of Pharmacovigilence committee and actively involved in its activities. His field of interest is clinical dermatology, vitiligo surgery and dermatopathology. He was state level quiz master for AndhraPradesh& Tamil Nadu quiz programmes.He attended various conferences of regional,state,national & international level.He also presented interesting papers at these conferences. He is involved actively in conducting several conferences, CME of state ,national and international level.He is the founder secretary of Mysore dermatology society and actively involved in its activities. He has published several scientific papers in the field of dermatology in various journals.
