Dr. Abhilash completed his graduation from SIMS, Shivamogga and Post-graduation in Anesthesia and critical care from JJM Medical College, Davanagere. And then pursued Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. Then started working as Intensivist in MICU, BGS Global Hospitals and Currently working as Intensivist in JSS Hospital. His areas of special interests are critical care and ultrasound in ICU. He is Involved in regular academic activities, conducted seminars in the department and shares Graded responsibility in care of patients and research work. He has a passion in teaching, research. And has been faculty in various CME in critical care

Worked in Critical Care Medicine department till date, involved in diagnosis, evaluation and management of broad range of Critically ill patients including management of patients on ECMO.

He has expertise in Bedside Ultrasound and ECHO to aid and confirm the diagnosis of diseases suspected following and integrating the objective examination and to guide eventual interventional procedures. He has also gained extensive experience in interventions like Broncho alveolar lavage, Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial biopsy, ICD procedure, pleural aspiration, fibrinolysis and interpretation of pulmonary function tests
