Dr. Adarsh T is an Orthopaedic surgeon specialised in joint replacement working at JSS Medical college and Hospital for the past 11 years. He is an undergraduate and post graduate alumni of JSS Medical College. Following his master’s degree, he has worked in high volume speciality hospitals in Bangalore like Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedics and Deepak Speciality Hospital where he dealt with basic and complex trauma, spine, arthroscopy and arthroplasty. He has undergone intense fellowship training in hip and knee joint replacement at KIMS and Sunshine hospital, Hyderabad under the renowned arthroplasty surgeon Dr. A. V. Guruva Reddy.
Dr. Adarsh works in the arthroplasty unit of the Department of Orthopaedics which exclusively handles and cares for the patients suffering from joint pathologies. His areas of interest include knee, hip and shoulder replacement. He is first surgeon to join department of orthopaedics with joint replacement fellowship training programme. He partially takes the credit of starting primary joint replacement surgeries in large numbers in JSS Hospital. Being part of the arthroplasty unit, he has operated many complicated knee and hip replacement surgeries. He has cared for various sick patients admitted for various orthopaedic complications in trauma, spine, arthroscopy also.
Dr. Adarsh has a number of publications in indexed national and international journals to his credit. He is currently part of many ongoing research projects and clinical trials. He also heads the fine arts and photography club “KALAKRITI” at the JSS Medical College. He is also part of the college magazine committee. He is coordinator for academics for undergraduate students from the Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Adarsh is very passionate about teaching undergraduates and postgraduates. He is very compassionate towards his patients and has a thirst for knowledge which makes him always willing to learn.
