Dr. Asha M

Dr. Asha M is an MD in Pathology with 24 years of service in the department of pathology at JSS medical College and Hospital. She is alumni of UG and PG of same institute. As an academician, pathologist and teacher by profession passionate towards diagnostic pathology and teaching. Skilled in teaching, designing curriculum for undergraduates (MBBS, BDS, BPT), Postgraduates (MD) and various paramedical courses (BSc allied health sciences). She has publications in national, international journals with poster and paper presentations in various national CMEs and conferences. She has guided UG students for STS projects funded by ICMR, New Delhi and many post graduate students. Teaching students with new innovative methods like OSPE and OSCE to create a path for high quality medical professionals. Her areas of special interest are Bone, GIT, Gynec and breast pathology with research work in same field. She is actively involved as deputy quality manager in NABL, NABH and treasurer in organizing CMEs and workshops. She is a member of various professional bodies and also a member of UG / PG board of studies of the university. Serve the institution and university in achieving the respective goals and missions.
