I am a Paediatrician and a trained neonatologist working for the past 9 years in JSS Medical College and Hospital. I am a proud alumnus of JSS Medical College. I have completed my MD in Paediatrics from JJM Medical College, Davangere, and Fellowship in Neonatology from Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bangalore. I am a certified national trainer for Basic and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program. I have many publications in national and international journals to my credit. One of my research papers has been awarded the prestigious “Prof. Y. T. Thathachari Endowment Prize for the Best Research Paper” in 2020 by JSSMC. I am currently part of a few ongoing research projects in the NICU. I was part of the team which developed the NNFI SHUSHU app and some medical devices, few of which have been applied for patent. I am also an active member of the Medical Education Unit, College Cultural Committee, and Child Abuse Response Unit. I am passionate about teaching undergraduates, postgraduates, and nurses. I am very compassionate towards my patients and am able to communicate with them effectively to understand their concerns with deep patience. My areas of interest include neonatal resuscitation, preterm care and feeding in infants.
