Dr. Krishna Kumar H. C

Dr. Krishna Kumar H. C is working as Assistant Professor in the department of Pediatrics, JSS Medical College since July 2015. He has completed both his undergraduate and post graduate degree from this prestigious institute itself. He has undergone specialized training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and have been practicing Pediatric Critical Care from almost past seven and a half years. He is very much interested in taking care of critically ill child and managing challenging cases in our Pediatric ICU. He believes in the saying ‘The best way to learn is by teaching’. Hence, he will be engaged in educating and/or updating our nursing staffs and residents in the area of Pediatric critical care. He is also involved in undergraduate teaching as well. Along with the teaching, he has been an active participant in Indian Academy of Pediatrics by being faculty in many conferences and workshops at state and national levels. He was the Treasurer for NCPID 2017 and Executive committee member for IAP Intensive Care chapter, Karnataka in 2018. He had served as the secretary of IAP Mysore branch in 2019 during which the Mysore branch won the best District branch award for the various academic, social and awareness activities conducted during his tenure. His aim is to be committed and dedicated in the management of Pediatric patients, teaching students and nurses and to contribute to the best of his ability, knowledge and hard work to fulfil the vision and mission goals of our premiere institution and University.
