I completed my MBBS from Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur in the year 2003 and completed my post-graduation in M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore in the year 2009. Worked as an Assistant Professor in Sri Siddartha Medical College for 1 year and M S Ramaiah Medical College for 7 years. Joined JSSMC as an Assistant Professor. I have undergone a four day training program conducted by NABL ISO-15189 – Internal Auditors training which helped me in enhancing my knowledge on improvement of quality in biochemistry laboratory. I am currently the Deputy Quality Manager for NABL, Clinical Safety Officer and Laboratory Safety Officer for NABH. My current areas of interests include the Diagnostics – Implementation of Quality & Various aspects of Quality Management systems in the clinical biochemistry laboratory, Biostatistics – Various statistical tests and their use in research and Bioethics – Ethical practices followed in laboratory and research. I have guided a student for ICMR STS project and done a short research project in collaboration with the BSc. Medical Laboratory Technology student of Ghent University, Belgium, while working at M S Ramaiah Medical College and have one NGO funded project to my credit.
