Dr. Madhukesh Rudramurthy

Dr. Madhukesh Rudramurthy graduated from JJM Medcial College, Davangere in 2010 and Masters in Orthopedics from MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru under the guidance of Prof D. C. Sundaresh in 2014. Post his Masters graduation he worked as Registrar/Junior consultant at Bangalore Baptist Hospital (Sister unit of Christian Medical College, Vellore) for 2 years. During this period he also worked as Assistant professor, International Medical School, Management and Science University MSU,Malaysia and was chief co ordinator for UG program from Department of Orthopedics.

Dr. Madhukesh Rudramurthy pursued his training under Dr. Leo A Whiteside, Director, Missouri Bone and Joint Centre, St Louis, Missouri, USA in Adult Reconstructive Surgery. Under the guidance of Dr. Leo A Whiteside he underwent extensive training in Primary, Revision and Complicated Adult reconstructive surgery of Hip and Knee. He was awarded Surgeon Research and Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery Hip and Knee in 2017 upon successful completion of training. He has submitted two research papers on management of infected joints with intra-articular infusion of antibiotics and Retrieval analysis of Cobalt chromium and Zirconium knee implants during his fellowship.

Since 2017 he is been working in JSS Medical College and Hospital in the Adult Reconstructive Unit and has showed his competency in managing difficult primary, revision and infected joint replacement surgeries. Apart from Adult reconstructive surgery, his interest in pelvis-acetabular surgery and trauma to be noted.

Teaching has been one of his prime academic goals which he pursues wholeheartedly. He is successful in conducting many skill based programme to post graduate students by cadaver dissection and Bone saw models; monthly teaching programs in Mysore Orthopaedic Association and bed side clinics. Undergraduate Orthopaedics
