Dr. Prajwala H V is a dedicated Pediatrician with six years of experience, currently serving at JSS Medical College. She takes pride in being an alumna of Bangalore Medical College, where she completed her MD in Pediatrics. Driven by a passion for neonatal care, she has worked extensively in Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Bangalore.
Specializing in neonatal resuscitation, preterm care, and nutrition & vaccines, Dr. Prajwala has conducted six trials under the guidance of Dr. M.D. Ravi has 10 publications to her name. Her commitment to advancing medical knowledge is evident through her recent presentation at the prestigious ASN (American Society of Nutrition) International platform.
Dr. Prajwala H V is a certified national trainer for Basic and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program under the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and National Neonatology Forum. Actively involved in the Child Abuse Response unit, she contributes to the community’s well-being.
Recognizing the importance of education, she is proposing a Certificate course in nutrition in collaboration with the Head of the Department of Pediatrics at JSS AHER. Dr. Prajwala’s strength lies in her empathetic approach to patient care and her friendly demeanor towards both undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing valuable support in academics.
Her achievements include being awarded the prestigious AAP Award for an observership in neonatology at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA, by the India Gianni Fund. She also had the privilege of attending the PAS (Pediatric Academic Society) conference in Baltimore, USA, further showcasing her commitment to professional development and global medical collaboration.
