Dr Rakesh BS, Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at JSS Medical College, Mysuru. With 16 years of experience in clinical practice and academic teaching, he is recognized for his contributions in UG & PG teaching, research, and surgical expertise. He has undergone advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology, and has significantly contributed to the field through clinical excellence and academic engagement.
Dr. Rakesh is a skilled and experienced ENT surgeon with specialized training in head and neck surgery, thyroid and parotid surgeries, microlaryngeal and airway procedures, as well as advanced endoscopic sinus and micro ear surgeries. With a strong academic foundation and international exposure, he has completed fellowships in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology (GOLF IFHNOS, U.S.) and in the University Clinic for ENT, Head and Neck Surgery in Luebeck, Germany.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Rakesh holds an MBA in Hospital and Health System Management from BITS Pilani, enhancing his capabilities in healthcare administration.
