I started my career in Medicine with a deep wish to reach out to people and serve the needy. Along with that, I also a strong affinity towards academics and that lead me to joining JSS Medical College and Hospital in 2011. I got several opportunities to be a part of the Organizing team of many workshops and Conferences both at the Regional as well National levels. I have presented several papers at conferences and have been fortunate enough to win awards as a recognition of my research work. I have a great deal of zeal and enthusiasm for getting involved in the research field and have hence enrolled for a PhD on ENT under JSS University in Apr 2021. My field of special interest and expertise is Deafness and Implantation Otology for which I have been trained under the able mentorship of one of the pioneers in the field of Implantation Otology, Padmashri Prof Mohan Kameswaran at Madras ENT Research Foundation at Chennai in the year 2019. I have been awarded the Post Doctoral Fellowship in Implantation Otology by the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. I wish to take it forward so as to reach out all those suffering from the silent handicap of deafness and have been facing various degrees of social isolation. I am keenly interested in honing my surgical and clinical skills
