I am very passionate about establishing a research career in the area of diabetes and associated co-morbidity with a goal to understand basic mechanisms and develop interventional strategies, that could aid in improving the health of diabetic patients. I have been selected for sanction of a major research project by the Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. My areas of research interest are Metabolic syndrome, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular disease.

As a Medical Biochemist in the Clinical Biochemistry laboratory, at JSS Hospital, I have been providing diagnostics information by maintaining and implementing analytical procedures evaluating data and reporting results. I have been instrumental in the laboratory quality assurance programs and am actively involved in the preparation and implementation of protocols and procedures related to NABH/NABL accreditation. I intend to achieve excellence in diagnostic care, with the aim of providing accurate reports for the benefit of patients.

I have been actively involved in teaching Medical undergraduates and post-graduates. In addition, I am involved in teaching MSc, BSc, BDS, and BPT students. I am a passionate academician with the objective of training medical students and making them the best and most successful doctors and respectable human beings.
