Model Health Village

JSS Hospital has taken up several projects involving community health survey, health education & treatment for various ailments. One such effort is the “Model Health VIllage Programme at Suttur (MHVPS).” Suttur village is situtated in Nanjangud Taluk. It has a population of nearly 5,000. His Holiness Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji has taken up this challenging but unique idea of creating a model health village – a first of its kind in India.
