JSS Hospital, Mysuru, has taken a significant step in advancing neurosurgical care with the introduction of the KINEVO 900, a cutting-edge surgical microscope. This revolutionary technology is set to enhance precision, safety, and efficiency in complex brain and spine procedures.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. (Col.) TS Vasan, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, highlighted the impact of this innovation. “The KINEVO 900 transforms neurosurgery by improving visualization, ensuring better stability, and enabling minimally invasive techniques. This translates to shorter surgeries, fewer complications, and quicker patient recovery,” he stated. Dr. MD Krishna Narayanan, Associate Professor of Neurosurgery, emphasized the system’s benefits, saying, “With this advanced technology, we can now perform highly intricate neurosurgical procedures with greater accuracy and confidence.
The high-resolution imaging and robotic assistance enhance both safety and efficiency, ultimately benefiting patients and surgeons alike.” The KINEVO 900, previously unavailable in Mysuru, is expected to elevate the standard of neurosurgical care at JSS Hospital, ensuring greater precision and improved patient outcomes.
