Dr. Morubagal Raghavendra Rao

Dr. M. Raghavendra Rao is presently working as Associate professor in Department of Microbiology JSS Medical College, JSSAHER. He is proud to be alumni of JSS Medical College and is thankful to the organisation for giving him an opportunity to serve. He is a passionate teacher involved in teaching and training postgraduate students of Microbiology, MDS and Undergraduate students of MBBS, BDS, BSc Allied Health sciences, Physiotherapy and Nursing.

He is Co-ordinator for NABH, Chief quality Manager for NABL, Safety officer for SRL NACO, Infection control officer for JSS Dental College and member of board of studies Allied Health sciences and AETCOM Committee. He has enthusiastically involved in organizing various National, state level conferences, Workshops, CMEs in the department as Treasurer, member, resource person and coordinator.

He is actively involved in diagnostic and research activities of department. His areas of special interest are Drug resistance in bacteria, Mycology, Infection control, Quality Assurance &Quality Control. He has guided several MSc, MDS postgraduates and ICMR short term student projects of MBBS students. He presented various scientific papers in International, National and Regional conferences. Published many original research articles, Case reports in national and international, peer reviewed, indexed journalsresident in microbiology.
