Dr. Jayashree S graduated from Mysore Medical College, Mysore in the year 2003 and did post-graduation (MS) in OBG from JSS Medical College, Mysore from 2004 to 2007. She completed DNB (OBG) in May 2008. She is trained in ‘Advanced Endoscopy and Infertility’ at Paul’s Hospital, Cochin in 2008. She also received training in Assisted Reproduction at Pearl Singapore Fertility Centre, Cochin in 2014.

She started her career as a teacher in medical school at MMCRI, Mysore in August 2007 where she worked as senior resident after post-graduation. She then joined JSS Medical College, Mysore in February 2009 as assistant professor and is currently working as associate professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She continues to work passionately in her areas of interest, i.e., reproductive medicine and gynaec endoscopy. She has been part of various conferences, CMEs and workshops as a delegate/ faculty/ organiser gaining and sharing knowledge and skills. She is a member of BOS for biomedical sciences and has also been involved in administrative tasks in MSc Embryology course (co-ordinator) and NABH (co-ordinator)
