Dr. Prasanna Kumar H. R

Dr.Prasanna Kumar H. R is a teacher and a committed clinician. He is dedicated to exemplary patient outcomes and following all necessary medical procedures with the use of the latest industry equipment and technology. He has Strong focus on listening to and addressing patient concerns and answering all questions in terms patients can easily understand. He has willingness to work with all members of the medical team and listen to their suggestions and input to improve results and maximize patient satisfaction.

He is graduated from Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical sciences (AIMS), Bellur in the Year 2000 which was affiliated to University of Mysore. He did Post Graduation MD in General Medicine from JSS Medical College (JSSMC) in 2006 from RGUHS. He Joined JSSMC in 2006 and served as Assistant Professor of Medicine till June 2017.

• Presently Serving as Associate Professor of Medicine till date.
• Got trained in BLS and ACLS courses from IIEMS, Kottayam and trained many Under graduate, post graduate & Nursing students for 5 years. He has guided 2 students in MD-General medicine and is currently guiding 2 MD students. He has got 12 original articles to his credit published in various national and international journals.
• Presented papers in APICON and National RSSDI Conference. He is involved in activities of API, RSSDI and MPMRT. He has served API-Mysuru chapter in various capacity as Executive member, Scientific secretary, Treasurer, General Secretary (2017-18) and Presently serving as Vice-Chairman of API, Mysore Chapter for the year 2019-21.
