I am working as Associate Professor of General Medicine. I have completed my MD in General Medicine from University of Mysore and started his career at JSS Medical College in the year 2012. I have a passion for teaching and I am also interested in research. My area of interest are Diabetes and HIV Medicine. I have got a “Summer HIV Medicine Fellowship Program” from the University of South Florida, Tampa, USA. I have also done “Certificate Course in Evidence Based Diabetes Management”. I have published several research articles in National and International Journals in the field of Diabetes and HIV Medicine. I have received the “Best Teacher Award” for the year 2018-19. I have got vast experience in the field of HIV Medicine. I have also been appointed as an external expert from NACO(National AIDS Control Organization), New Delhi for SACEP(State AIDS Clinical Expert Panel), which takes care of patients from nearby 5 districts who have failed first line ART regimen. I have also presented papers in the National and International conferences. I have guided several undergraduate students in ICMR projects and made them publish their work in Journals. I have also guided PhD students. At present I am in charge of Comprehensive Diabetic Care Centre (CDCC) at JSS hospital.
