Dr. Virupakshi Ajjammanavar graduated from JJMMC, Davangere in the year 2004 and pursued post-graduation (MS) in OBG at MRMC, Gulbarga from 2005 to 2008. He is trained in ‘Advanced Endoscopy’ at Sunrise Hospital, Cochin in 2009 and at Sunrise Hospital, Sholapur in 2011. He is also trained in ‘Clinical Embryology’ at Pearl Singapore Fertility Centre, Cochin in 2014 and at Asia Pacific Institute of Embryology in 2015.

He joined SSIMS & RI, Davangere as assistant professor after post-graduation. After resigning, he joined JSS Medical College, Mysore in November 2009 as an assistant professor and is currently working as an associate professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He continues to work passionately in his areas of interest, i.e., andrology and gynaec endoscopy. He has been part of various conferences, CMEs and workshops as a delegate/ faculty/ organiser gaining and sharing knowledge and skills.
