Dr M Suresh Babu completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical education from Mysore Medical College. He joined as a faculty in the Department of Medicine in JSS Medical College in 1998 and presently is Professor of Medicine at  JSS Medical College and Hospital, JSSAHER. He has been a passionate teacher with good organizational skills. He has guided many undergraduate and postgraduate students in their pursuit of academic excellence. He has been awarded three times the best award paper in the Karnataka Association of Physicians Conference. He has to his credit publications in national and international medical journals. He has been a fellow of many academic organizations including College of Chest Physicians ( FCCP ), Indian College of Physicians ( FICP ), Indian Society of Cardiology ( FISC), International Medical Sciences Academy ( FIMSA ), Indian Association of Clinical Medicine ( FIACM ), Indian Society of Electrocardiology ( FISE ). He has also been awarded the Fellowship of American College of Physicians ( FACP ) and Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, UK (FRCP Edin). He was awarded 8th WCCPCI ( World Congress of Clinical, Preventive Cardiology and Imaging) International Award of Excellence in Cardiology in 2013, American College of Physicians, India Chapter Appreciation Award in 2018. He was the founder Chair, Membership Development, American College of Physicians, India Chapter and was the first elected governing council member representing  South India in the Governing Council of American College of Physicians, India Chapter from 2017 – 2020. He has served as a Member, UG and PG Clinical Board of Studies and in the Academic Council in Faculty of Medicine, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru, Karnataka, India. He was the President of Association of Physicians of India, Mysore Chapter and Vice President, Association of Physicians of India, Karnataka Chapter. He wishes to continue mentoring medical
