Profile

Dr Deepashree R, is presently working as Assistant professor in the Department of Microbiology. She is a Gold medallist and a postgraduate alumni of JSS Medical college. She completed her MBBS from

K.S. Hegde Medical academy. She has completed 3 years senior residency in hospital infection control, antimicrobial stewardship and clinical Microbiology in Dept of Microbiology, JIPMER, Puducherry. She

presently working as Assistant surveillance officer, HIC and Antimicrobial stewardship officer, JSS Hospital. .She is a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who is committed to the academic growth of her students. She is involved in teaching medical,

paramedical UG and PG students. She is passionate about research activities and has guided MSc medical Microbiology students, MBBS students, and Msc students from various other institutions in their project work. Her main focus is hospital infection control and antimicrobial stewardship.
